N710HA - within less than a year of new delivery and 170 hrs TT a windstorm stripped the hangar of all its sheathing causing some non-structural damage to the aircraft. The aircraft was ferry flown to Uvalde, Texas for repairs. Repairs were done by removing the damaged part and replacing with a new Cessna part and there were no need for any engineering 8110’s - part off / part on.
The repairs included:
Replacement of the upper aft tailcone skin under the vertical stabilizer,
Replacement of the upper crown skin above the cockpit,
Replacement of the vertical stabilizer leading edge,
Replacement of the right wing trailing edge island between the flap and the aileron,
Replacement of the left inboard leading edge panel
Repair by Cessna of the rudder,
Repair by Cessna of the left aileron.
Additionally, the SkyWay MRO externally flushing SkyFlush was also accomplished.
